I've just moved into Cambridge for the first time, having lived in Bar Hill most of my life. After 3-4 days of living in Cambridge, my bike has been stolen. The annoying thing was that I found out when I was going to put my new lock on it I'd just bought as I was so paranoid it would be stolen. A little too late it appears!

the make and model is: Ridgeback Veloicty (Rapide), hybrid bike. I bought it from Howes cycles earlier this year and it's a pretty decent bike, with alluminium frame and wheels in black. It was stolen from Maltings close, just off Ditton Walk in Cambridge.

If anyone has any ideas or sees or reads anything that might be something to do with my bike I would very much appreciate any information. Part of the reason of moving into central cambridge was so that I could cycle to work and get off the buses....so as you can imagine, I'm a bit bummed by it all!

If anyone has been in a similar position, if you could give me your tips they would all be welcome.
