Infrastructure Designer - Major Blue Chip - Hertfordshire - 35-65K

Would you like to help design one of the biggest and most advanced IT Infrastrucutres in the UK?

This major UK company are looking for an Infrastructure Designer to design and document the IT infrastructure requirements for largescale IT projects through the translation of business requirements into infrastructure solutions.

The successful candidate will be required to:

Interpret business and non-functional requirements and solutions designs into viable, scalable infrastructure solutions.
Produce Project Plans, Detailed (integrated) and High Level Infrastructure Design documents.
Create designs that comply with the roadmaps, principles, standards, policies and best practices and within project funding.
Follow and help shape the future Technical Strategy and Architecture standards.
Support projects throughout the project lifecycle from feasibility to handover and operational support.
Report to the Design Team Leader, who is in turn accountable to the Head of Infrastructure.
Show project accountability to business Project Managers on each project.
