Hiya,
I'm a singer-songwriter-guitarist. After part-timing in bands for years, I've decided to give it absolutely 100% from now on. The short version of my plan is this:

Form a band with some party-loving, hard-working, like-minded lads. Earn enough for us all to live on by playing two or three covers gigs per week. Spend most of our spare time writing and rehearsing original songs, gigging them anywhere and everywhere we can in search of fame and fortune, and generally enjoying the rocknroll lifestyle!

If you're interested, you'd need to be committed to BOTH parts of the plan: For part one, we'll have to put together a really great covers show, the kind that earns £700 a night in Chicago Rock venues rather than £100 a night in the local boozer. We'll have to survive on not very much money/get part-time jobs for the first couple of months until the gigs start rolling in and paying properly.

For part two, we'll have to have enough dedication to work hard at writing great material together, enough talent to learn it like the back of our hands, enough charisma to perform it brilliantly and enough stamina to have fun with our groupies at the after-parties... ;)

I have already invested in the necessary PA gear, recording equipment and transport, all I need now are some partners in crime!

My own songwriting has loads of varied influences - AC/DC, Free, Beatles, Stones, Killers, Muse, Bon Jovi, Cat Stevens - basically anything that has a proper melody and a decent beat. I'm definitely open to other influences, so please name yours when you drop me a line! Hope to hear from you soon.
