This teaching position is going to create a great environment for a teacher to work in. Pay will reflect applicant’s qualifications and teaching experience. All applicants should be suitably qualified to teach and preferably have a degree specialising in Chemistry.

This teaching position will involve teaching Chemistry to KS3 & 4 on a temporary basis until July initially to cover a maternity leave. Students at the school on the whole are well motivated and work well due to the care and support provided by the teaching staff at the school.

The school educates students aged 11 – 18 and serves the areas surrounding the market town of St Ives. There are over 1800 pupils coming from a range of backgrounds at the school. The majority of teachers working at the school commute from Huntingdon, Peterborough and Cambridge.
