Our client is a prestigious financial institution based in Saffron Walden, Essex. We are now looking to recruit an experienced 2nd Line Technical Support candidate on their behalf. The person we are looking for will be able to display the following skills and experience...

1. Excellent communications skills at all levels.

2. Proven, sufficient experience of 2nd Line support.

3. Ability to work in a team and on their own.

4. Good all round IT knowledge.

5. Network troubleshooting, DHCP and DNS

6. Microsoft Windows Clients

7. Windows Server Knowledge, including AD, GPO's, Exchange, etc..

8. Administration knowledge of Anti-Virus, Email and Web tools.

9. Administration knowledge of a Backup System.

10. Knowledge of Virtualisation

It would be a distinct advantage for candidates to have the following skills and experience...

1. Having worked in a Financial environment.

2. Having worked in a regulated/audited/change control environment.

3. Any database knowledge, SQL, Access.

A competitive package with a salary circa £25,000 and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) will be offered, as well as pension scheme and other benefits.

To be considered for this role you must have proven 2nd Line Technical Support experience and most of the skills listed above.

Interviews will take place week commencing 19th October 2009 following the initial short listing process by Crem Recruitment.
