Are you passionate about the web, user interfaces, the work you do and have a keen eye for detail?

After five very successful years, Chameleon Studios are now looking to recruit a brilliant individual to help strengthen our team and reputation for high quality website development, delivery and client satisfaction.

As a brilliant developer, you must have the following skills:

3+ years of commercial experience
Excellent understanding of XHTML and CSS
Coding to W3C compliant standards
Cross browser/OS compatibility
Experience working with major open source content management systems (Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal, Magento, Expression Engine etc...)
Ability to implement client-side libraries/frameworks (Prototype, JQuery and Scriptaculous)
Ability to work with image editing software (Photoshop, Fireworks)

Desirable skills include:

Ability to code in PHP
Understanding of PHP frameworks (Zend, Code Igniter, Cake)
Understanding of MySQL and relational database design
Experience with Subversion version control
Experience creating website interface designs
AJAX/JavaScript coding skills
Experience working with ecommerce systems, SSL and payment gateways
This exciting and varied role will require a developer who is able to work under their own initiative. We are a small team so we will keep you on your toes, but will reward you with a great working environment where your opinions will be highly valued and respected.

Salary £22-28k per year dependant on experience and skillset.
