P&S Personnel are currently representing a Cambridgeshire based client who are seeking a rounded Analyst Programmer to assist the ICT Applications & Database Manager in the design, development, delivery, support and maintenance of corporate web and desktop based systems.

Candidates shall be responsible for the analyses of information systems requirements of users to determine their feasibility and, by assessment against technical capability, develop functional specifications to be used in the design, development and implementation of these systems. Candidates shall be also required to provide technical support including development and deployment for a wide range of technically diverse web and desktop projects.

You shall have experience of undertaking comprehensive systems design and integration, starting from collecting and interpreting business requirements to product delivery. You shall have experience of using up to date development software and technologies undertaking systems analysis, design, development, implementation and integration for a wide range of applications covering web based systems and Lotus Domino e.g graphics, scripts, web pages, applications and Lotus Notes databases, to meet business user requirements.

The postholder will need to be skilled at extracting, interpreting and converting user/business requirements in to a technical design, specification and ultimately code. The post holder must be highly proficient in a variety of programming / development technologies and standards such as Microsoft .Net, Microsoft SharePoint, J2EE, XML, web services, W3C etc.
