Yair is an internationally acclaimed musician who has performed in the most prestigious venues and festivals over the globe. He has spent a lifetime exploring and mastering a wide range of plucked string instruments, from the medieval lute to the modern and electric guitar and has collaborated with some of the most famous ensembles and solo artists. He wishes to pass over his extensive knowledge of music and his instruments to others of all ages and ability. His teaching centres on:
Developing musical sensitivity and creativity; learning and applying efficient practice methods; ensemble music making; and excellent technique and posture. He lets his students develop their natural talent and innate relationsip to the music and their instrument. Harmony, music theory, sight reading and other skills are taught as an integral part of the lessons and in the context of playing a piece of music. As well as the classical guitar he teaches medieval, rennaissance, baroque lute, and baroque and romantic guitar, In his classical guitar lessons Yair can include various other styles such as Jazz and Brazilian/Folk music. He encourages pupils to play pieces and songs they like either by ear or from staff/tab notation and to improvise.

Lessons take place in the pupils home or in Kennett (Newmarket).
All age groups are welcome as all levels - from abselute beginners to advanced and professional.
Yair can also prepare for Graded Exams.
