Genie Ventures is a Cambridge-based internet company which builds and runs a range of commercial websites. Genie Ventures is a small, fast-growing business, and is currently based in the Mill Road area of Cambridge (20 minutes walk to station).

Summary
We are looking for a web developer to grow our tech team as we improve our existing sites and roll out new ones. Duties will include bug fixing and development of new features.

Location: Cambridge, UK
Salary: £25k, or neg depending on experience
Hours: Full time

Skills and experience should include:
2-3 years PHP/MySQL experience
Being very quick to grasp new concepts and ideas
A good degree (2:1 or higher), preferably in a science subject
Familiarity with OOP/MVC concepts
(X)HTML, CSS and JS
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

It would be great if you also have experience of:
Zend Framework
Integration with 3rd party systems (for example via SOAP or XML feeds)
SVN
