Dear family,



My name is Dobrin Radu, I am 23 years old and I am from Romania . I live in Brasov , a city fool of history situated in the centre of the country. Currently I am in the UK and staying with another family in Maidenhead.



I have one brother, he is 30 years old, he is a doctor and occasionally works in France . My mother is 53 years old and she is working as a secretary to a big company. My father is 56 years old and is a drive instructor. My brother is a very good speaker of English and my mother and I speak good English.



I have been studying English for about 5 years. I graduated from high school in 2005 and in the present I am a student at a University where we are studying in English.

I have my licence drive since September 2006 and I have some experience with driving in the UK . In Romania I used to work as a driver in sales and then in tourism.



I have some child experience in Romania and the UK . In Romania I took care of my three cousins, two boys of 3 and 5 years old and a little girl of 1 year old. Their parents were working very much and I was the one who feed them, clean them and play with them. In the UK I was an au pair to a family with two boys of 6 and 9 years old.



I am a very friendly person, very sociable and conscientious. My friend describes me as kind person. I am a non-smoker and I love animals and children very much. I like visiting new places and making friends all over the world; I made some friends when I was in Germany , Greece and France .



The main reason why I want to be an au pair in the UK is that of improving my English and because I love working with children. Also I want to integrate myself in a British family and to learn more about British culture. This experience will help me also to continue my studies when I will return home. I am intending to stay in the UK for one year maybe two years. I think is a starting point for a better future.
