CAMBRIDGE – SOLE CHARGE NANNY WANTED, LIVE IN Starts Sept/Oct 2009

Live-in sole charge job working with 3 children in Cambridge. 4 weeks paid holiday a year (taken in school holiday periods only), large room in country house, huge garden.
Minimum of £13,000 p.a. annual gross (depending on experience) plus we supply your own sole use car plus other perks. Must be able to cook nutritious meals for children and be a swimmer. A jolly, loving constitution is a must!

Rough daily schedule

7am - get children ready for school, breakfast, teeth cleaned, hair, bags ready
8am - leave for school - drop elder two off, bring younger one to nursery
9.30-12pm - tidy rooms, laundry etc
12 or 1pm - pick up younger one from nursery - give lunch or take home for educational play
3pm - prepare evening meal - hot - enough for family
4pm - pick up older two from school , give tea to all children, tidy up
5pm - supervise homework, get school bags ready and snacks - put by door
6pm - bath/wash hair
7pm - put to bed


Ideally nanny should be Ofsted registered and experienced - at least two years in a nursery Weekends free (apart from occasional babysitting by negotiation). We have a cleaner for non-nursery duties but if the nanny could help with minor everyday routine household tasks while parents are working (eg loading and unloading dishwasher, moving clothes from washing machine to dryer, folding laundry, small errands) this would be desirable.

Nanny should ideally be NNEB or NVQ (Level 3) qualified, and have at least two references. Ideally should have a minimum of one year's sole home childcare experience.
