Description - Optical Physicist required for an Optical Physicist position based in Cambridge. Candidates should possess good academics, with at least a 2.1 or PhD in Physics or a similar engineering degree, as well as exposure in working with optical or opto-electronic systems. Also needed is a ability to use optical design programs.
Essential skills:
-Good degree or PhD in Physics or similar Engineering subject
-Familiarity in delivering opto-electronic as well as optical systems, in particular with analytical measuring and also sensing measuring
-Familiarity with optical designing programs
Desired but not essential:
-Commercial experience in developing products
-Algorithm experience
-Use of C or MATLAB
