A National Organisation that deliver a comprehensive and flexible range of property services, tailored to meet the needs of both public and private sector clients across the UK, currently have an excellent job opportunity for a Building Services Engineer to be based in Lowestoft, Norfolk.

The main emphasis of the role will be draft work orders, prepare estimates, interpret CAD drawings, specifications, supervise contractors and check and approve accounts. Also to carry out property inspection functions and the identification of day-to-day and planned repairs and to prepare reports.

An interesting element to the role will be to fulfil the 'Energy Manager' position, this will include consumption and monitoring of the Council's corporate energy and water supplies and advising on energy management issues and thrives on developing, maintaining and reviewing an energy management programme.


To ensure you receive the best possible offer you should be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Must have experience in dealing with clients at establishment head level
- HNC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent
- Post Qualification Experience in a construction design environment
- Relevant experience and an up-to-date knowledge of legislative requirements
- A working knowledge of energy management
- Must be familiar with the risks and hazards associated with asbestos
- Good organisational skills
- Must have relevant health and safety knowledge
- Must be computer literate with developed skills in CAD
- Must hold a current valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
