ASIC Project Manager

Our client is looking to extend its project management team to specifically cover the area of Mixed Signal; ASIC/IC development. Our client has been steadily building its team of IC designers to develop their High Accuracy Tracking technology. The ASICs/ICs designed by this team will allow this exciting technology to be realized in a cost effective manner for use in our clients infrastructure products. The successful candidate will project manage these developments

Candidate:
Degree qualified (or equivalent) the successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in the project managing the development of High speed Analogue & Mixed Signal IC designs.

The candidate must be able to work on their own initiative, but also communicate well with the other members of the team and contribute where necessary to ensure project completion on time.

Experience Required:
• Experienced project/programme manager
• Multiple concurrent projects (internal & external turnkey)
• Track record in managing from spec creation to validated devices
• Experience managing Mixed-Signal ASIC/IC development projects
• Will have managed more than 5 developments to commercial realisation
• Experience managing the complete IC design & supply chain (e.g. foundries, packaging houses, test houses etc)
• Experience in getting the design accepted by the customer.
• Ideally would be technically knowledgeable of the ASIC/IC design process (e.g. ex designer)
