Radiology Consultant required for a permanent role in the South East of England. This is a new post for a Consultant Breast and General Radiologist which will cover 10 Programmed Activities.

The department offers open access to general practitioners for routine general, barium and ultrasound studies and handles a large workload, particularly in, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, CT, MR and interventional techniques. The new appointee must therefore have a wide range of experience including general radiology, and cross-sectional imaging.

The ideal candidate will be expected to participate in departmental audit and clinical governance process and will also be expected to provide training and education to medical and other departmental staff as required.

A commitment to general reporting and traditional radiological examinations will be expected.

Qualifications required are FRCR or equivalent, full GMC registration and inclusion on the Specialist Register or within six months of obtaining CCT, by the interview date.
