A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Linux System Administrator in Cambridgeshire, to join an established technology driven organisation. You will need solid knowledge of relevant technologies including Linux, Windows, SQL, RedHat, Apache, Exchange 2007, Active Directory, Perl, Bash, Java, DNS, SMTP, RAID and server hardware configuration.

This role will suit someone who has a background in IT/Linux systems administration and development. You will have strong customer focus and work well under pressure.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with Linux, Windows, SQL, RedHat, Apache, Mail, DNS, SMTP, RAID, installation, configuration, administration and support. The ideal candidate will need experience of managing, developing networks, monitoring systems and the ability to interact with large groups.

Key responsibilities:
Ensuring security and uptime of their live websites.
Maintain security, maintenance and backup of all Linux servers.
Ensure standardised configuration of all Linux servers.
