In 1996 the government passed law that all Landlords who rent part or all of a property must have all gas pipework and appliances checked every twelve months and certified to make sure the appliances meet gas safety regulations.

We at Heat24seven are Corgi /Gas Safe registered to carry out gas safety inspections and issue landlord gas safety certificates on all domestic gas installations.We use the latest test equipment , combustion gas analysers , electronic gas leak detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.

What does a gas safety inspection include ?

1.Viisual inspection of installation. , check appliances for correct position and stability .
2.Check gas meter for access and correct labelling.
3. A soundness test of installation / appliance.
4.Check standing and working gas pressure .
5.Check burner pressure and gas rate and compare with manufacturers data .
6.Check ventilation.
7.Test flue flow for correct combustion and operation of flue.
8.Test all flame failure devices for correct operation.
9.Check casings and seals.
10.Investigate any evidence of unsafe operation of appliance.

Once your installation has passed the inspection you will be issued with two copies of your gas safety certificate one copy for the landlord /agent and one copy for the tenant.
