I have been a software developer for over 25 years, and have been more than proficient in a number of programming languages, on both mainframe and Windows client/server. Unfortunately, due to being an 'expert' in a specific language, and been employed as such, I am not in possession of the latest and greatest skillset. So, I now find myself unemployed, and wondering what to do.

What I am seeking is a final opportunity to stay with IT. I have excellent database skills, and have worked with SQL Server and Oracle amongst others. I have programmed in Gupta/Centura, COBOL, C and VB and a variety of other languages. I have even experimented with some ASP.NET, and had no difficulty. I am experienced in OOP, and am an extremely quick learner.

Bottom line... I need a job, am willing to work part time or full time, and am unbelievably flexible as regards salary. I would like a job preferably within 25 miles of Ely. In return for giving me an opportunity you will gain an employee who can learn programming languages very quickly, has designed very large corporate databases, can plan and lead projects, has authored and presented training courses, can manage small teams, and can even build and maintain PC's. Oh, and also pretty good with Crystal Reports if that makes a difference.
