I have a double room to rent in Newmarket. The house is approximately 20 mins walk from the town centre in Newmarket and very easy to get to the A14/A11.The house is very close to a small supermarket and a fish and chip shop(very handy) There is a chinese takeaway down the road and also a gym too. It is about a 20 minute journey to Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds.
The room I have to rent out is a small double bedroom and is fully furnished and there is a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk with chair, a small shelving unit, shelves above the desk and a bed side table. There is also cable tv in the room.
There is a kitchen, a large lounge/dining room and bathroom. The house is fully equipped with everything and there is also wireless. There is a lovely large garden (with a shed for bikes etc) and off road parking at the back of the house.
I already have one tenant and the house is friendly but fairly quiet during the week. I am looking for people who are sociable and pretty laid back and people who are looking to live in a home rather than just a room in a house. I do have a cat so liking cats would help
The rent is £270 a month and the deposit is £220. I would need a reference too. The room will be available from the 15th November, but could be ready the week before.
