Information about myself
I have applied to start my NVQ level 3 in children’s care, learning and development and have been successful in my application. A placement has been reserved for me and my funding has been granted. I am due to start the course in January 2010. I will attend training fortnightly on Tuesday evenings.
I am also hoping to retake my maths and science GCSE’s in January. I will attend these classes in my own personal time out of work hours.
I am interested in becoming a nanny as I would like to spend more time with the children to take part with exciting groups and activities. I believe being a nanny is good for the children as they get to stay in the comfort of their own home and also get more attention from the nanny than in other childcare settings.
I have a kind and caring personality and believe that the most important thing is the children’s safety and wellbeing.
I enjoy learning new knowledge and skills and applying this to my everyday work. I am happy to attend any training programmes that help to better myself and help develop my career.
