As an accomplished I.T. Project Manager, you ideally, will have enjoyed exposure to a variety of Project Manager tasks. Packaged based implementation projects might include HR, CRM, E Commerce or projects in finance or warehousing/supply chain. You will have managed the full life-cycle on high-value, I.T. projects, demonstrating the capability for driving multiple activities. You will have had the responsibility for controlling scope and accountability on delivering to budget whilst managing either; projects delivered by teams of on-site development staff, projects delivered by outsourced or projects involving package selection and implementation. Other skills you will bring to the table must include effective leadership, hands-on troubleshooting prowess, great communication and people skills and the motivation and desire to meet challenging objectives whilst delivering customer satisfaction. You will possess a strong academic record followed by an I.T. career that demonstrates achievement in each of your roles. A Prince2 qualification will be advantageous to your application.

Role
You will play an active part in responding to business initiatives, proposing and negotiating appropriate ways to address problems and take advantage of business opportunities. Projects will be challenging and varied and could reach a combined value of six and seven figure totals. Your ability to lead and manage teams of internal technical staff, outsourcing partners and third-party vendors to achieve project objectives will be critical. Project technologies will include .Net, Java, Oracle, Flash, Waterfall and Agile Methodologies and exposure to delivering projects in these areas will be paramount. You will also build relationships and communicate with stakeholders and sponsors up to senior levels within the business community.
