My client are a public sector organisation based in Kings Lynn. They are looking to recruit an Estates Officer for an immediate start on a 3 months contract.

Given the urgent nature of this requirement it is important that the candidate has a strong background in maintenance surveying as they will be required to assist in clearing a backlog of work.

The key purpose of the role is to assist the Estates Team in coordinating building projects and contractors on site as well as looking after the planned and reactive maintenance of the buildings on site. The successful candidate will also play a vital part in helping develop a long term accommodation strategy.

It is essential that all applicants to the post have a full UK driving licence as well as direct experience of managing maintenance programmes within a public sector facility. A strong ethos towards team-working and a helpful and cooperative attitude are also essential criteria.
