IT Support Technician/Engineer
We are seeking a professional IT Support technician/engineer to join our corporate support team. This role involves providing onsite and remote IT support to a range of corporate customers in Cambridge, East Anglia and London.
You will have an extensive knowledge of Windows Small Business Server 2003, Exchange, Active Directory and XP. As well as strong technical skills you will have good communication skills, the ability to work to a high standard under pressure, a positive can-do attitude and a customer focussed approach. You will be a team player and enjoy a challenge.
This wide and varied role offers good opportunity for career development both technically and commercially.
A full UK diving license and your own transport is essential to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities:
• Onsite and remote technical support for contract customers.
• Installation, upgrade and support of computer hardware & software
• Network design and consultancy
• Project work as required
• Ensuring customer satisfaction with support service
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years commercial experience in IT support
Windows Server and Small Business Server 2003
MS Exchange
XP and MS Office 2003
Network design and configuration
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
