Job Purpose
The main purpose of this role is to develop online and web based member services, take day-to-day responsibility for our clients social networking platform and grow online resource support for the networks going forward. The successful candidate will also review member networks and help these groups to evolve via online and other support.
Essential Skills and qualifications
• Excellent experience in a customer-focused environment
• Experience with building, growing and maintaining online communities on social networking sites such as Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter etc.
• Solid understanding of blogging and terms used around the social networks
• Knowledge of diverse online support resources
• Evidence of delivering projects in tight timescales
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding and appreciation of online communication challenges in a professional environment
Day to day activities
• To develop online resources and networking opportunities for members at a local and international level, working with other teams in our client such as IT and Publishing
• Responsible for the web content and uploading.
• To manage and develop our clients Social Networking platform
• To review our clients member networks by developing their role in terms of member services
• To identify, acquire and review specific online services for segments of members including international members and our clients Representatives
• To support the member networks in their day-to-day operation through online support and at physical events as requested
• To develop our clients members' area of the website
• To support committees and working parties as required
• To carry out additional projects as requested
