Salary: £40,000 basic plus 10% commission on net sales
Contract Type: Permanent Fulltime
Hours of work: 8am - 4.30pm Mon to Fri
The COMPANY
Our client is the leading provider of software that assists developers of Lotus Notes / Domino. They have recently added a fantastic Customer Relationship Management (CRM) package to their portfolio, and are looking to recruit a professional and committed sales executive who will maximize sales for the award-winning CRM solution based on IBM Lotus Notes Domino.
The ROLE
The purpose of this role is to prospect for new business, build strong relationships and close business deals while maximizing sales revenue and achieving maximum customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be required to:
* Identify sales opportunities through a combination of access to their existing database of customers and prospects, working with the brand to follow up on leads that they provide, and other lead-generation activities.
* Work with prospects and our client's technical consultants to perform requirements analyses and make recommendations, establish offers and manage the relationship through to the closing of contracts.
* Take sole responsibility for CRM sales in the U.K. region which includes making presentations, offers, visits to prospect and reference sites (some of which may be in Europe), contract negotiations, closure and post sales follow-up.
* Use telephone and on-site sales methods in progressing and closing deals.
* Work very closely with technical consultants to use their skills on any conversation where they can add value.
* Maintain sales forecast to prescribed standards.
* Achieve acceptable activity level based on number of calls, call duration and site visits.
* Participate in ongoing sales and technical training.
* Ensure all POs and invoices adhere to company policy.
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants who have a history of consistent sales achievements, and the following:
* You must have previous experience selling CRM solutions.
* Personal qualities must include drive, ambition, passion, responsibility, focus, determination ,curiosity, flexibility and honesty
* Comfortable applying a consultative sales process.
* Equally skilled at closing sales by telephone/on line demo and on customer sites
* Comfortable and confident with cold calling
* Comfortable discussing business issues at all levels
* Comfortable working knowledge of the software and how the software can be applied to solve business issues
* Strong communication skills - written and oral
* A team member that other team members respect and aspire to emulate
