Sterile Services Manager
Sterile Services Manager urgently required to work in South East England in a full time ongoing contract.
Starting ASAP the responsibilities of the Sterile Services Manager will include:
- Managing the Sterile Services Department and providing specialist information and advice
- Financial management and budgeting
- Providing a quality service of sterilised products produced in-house or purchased for wards, operating theatres, out-patient clinics, A & E departments, radiology departments and nursing and midwifery services
- Managing the decontamination standards for processing medical devices
- Ensuring internal audits are carried out
- Liaising with all levels of Management, Clinicians and Department Leaders.
As an experienced Sterile Services Manager, you will have excellent knowledge of the decontamination process and surgical instruments with the ability to manage training for other staff members.
You will ideally be qualified to degree level with a recognised managerial qualification.
