Software Test Developer
My client is recruiting a Senior Software Test Developer to join its growing QA team.
You will be required to:
Manage, maintain and develop our existing Python based automated test framework
Assist in the design of tests
Own the extension of our automated test framework to increase coverage
Assist in the analysis of test results and liaise with other Development Team members in the case of failures
Necessary Technologies
We are specifically interested in candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
Linux, especially scripting to support and build automated tests
Python
C/C++
SQL
HTML/XML
Desirable Technologies
Extra credit will be given to candidates who have knowledge of:
Virtualisation and its use as a deployment and test vehicle
We are expressly looking for candidates:
With an excellent understanding of the part that testing and QA and in general plays in complex software development projects
Who can be proactive in ensuring our released products are of suitable quality
Who can specify and take the lead in rolling out an automated test environment for our software products. This environment will comprise of both Linux based server hardware and an appropriate software test framework.
