I'm looking for a tidy, quiet, non smoking person to rent a single room in my four bedroom house in Sturmer, near Haverhill. It is a large house with the main bathroom upstairs, downstairs toilet and basin. There will be three or four people, male and female living in the house, including myself depending on which rooms are rented out.

I am only looking for a professional, employed person who can respect the house and the others living there. Please only contact me if you are full time employed and work regular or almost regular daytime hours. Shift workers will just disrupt everyone’s privacy. This is a perfect place for someone looking for a quiet comfortable room. Employment references will be sought as will £200 cash deposit, returned on your departure if all is well.

The room has a comfortable single bed with padded headboard and two drawers built into it. There is a side table with drawers and a lamp, wardrobe and towel rail. The window is South West facing giving the room lots of sunlight though there are blinds and curtains if needed. Large radiator with individual temperature control.


All bills are included in the price apart from the telephone. Wireless broadband is included as is use of the kitchen, dining room, garden and all of the facilities such as washing machine, ironing board, stove, cutlery fridge freezer etc. It's definately worth viewing but please be aware that I'm quite particular about who I live with and like everyone who lives in the house to get along.


Sturmer is a lovely quiet village 25 mins from Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds and Braintree, 20 mins from Newmarket and 20 minutes from Granta Park. Haverhill High Street is only a 5 minute drive as is Sainsbury’s and all other local facilities.
