A dynamic, results led property company based in Cambridge are offering an excellent job opportunity for a Strategic Land Buyer to cover Midlands and North Anglia. The company has successfully completed more than 7.5 million sq ft of development and investment projects worth in excess of £2 billion and obtained planning permission for over 500 residential units.

This role will be working in the Land Promotion department sourcing land both for immediate development and strategic land from feasibility stage to handover.

Will be required to identify Local Planning Authorities with a shortfall in supply and carry out a search and initial site appraisal for potential housing development land opportunities. Liaise with external consultants as necessary e.g planning consultants and Architects.

Following up and report on opportunities previously identified following through the bid process.

- Negotiating with land owners, initial pre-application discussions with Planners at the relevant local authorities
- Local plan searches (seeking any off market opportunities where possible)
- Producing land and development feasibilities
- Initial pre-application discussions with Planners at the relevant local authorities
- Market research
- Submitting offers for informal tenders.
