MoB Academy hen parties are the essentail addition to any hen weekend.

Think Dita von Teese, Gypsy Rose Lee and Bettie Page we will take you through peeling, posing and teasing! Slip on your seamed stockings and opera gloves, as our burlesque hen party leads you through the glamorous world of burlesque, introducing you to the art of ‘tease’, tassel twirling and burlesque bump ‘n’ grind.

The MoB Academy’s hen parties are enjoyed by ladies of all ages, shapes and sizes (and occasionally the odd ‘men hen’!) Groups can be made up of as many or as few as you like, we’ve taught for groups of between 5 and 25.
Our teachers are professionally dance trained and have burlesque performance experience. Brimming with personality, they will guide you through a whirlwind tour of burlesque in a secure, fun environment. Our hen party is guaranteed to make you feel sassy and confident, whisking you away into a world of glamour and humour.

Be prepared to realise your alter-ego!

You don't have to have any prior dance training; we will start with the basics and you will soon find yourself posing like a pin-up, peeling like a professional and uncovering a range of facets of your personality that burlesque will bring out in you. Regardless of your shape, size or age, burlesque is for you!
Our usual hen party lasts two hours and includes making up your burlesque name for the day, learning the art of posing (you'll never pose for a holiday snap the same way again!), glove peeling technique, shimmying and, of course, nipple-tassel twirling. (Don't worry - no nudity required. Tassels can be affixed over clothing if you prefer.) Technique and then a dance routine is taught for all the above.

We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing, as this is a movement-based class. Please bring small heels, as by the end of our time with us you will be slinking and strutting.

We use a variety of central venues, but are happy to accommdate parties who would like to hold the lesson in the comfort of their own home or hen party accommodation.
