Oncology Care Co-Ordinator
We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Oncology Nurse to work on a full-time community based post in
Cambridge and the surrounding area.
You will be providing a range of Nursing services to clients with varying needs in the community, experience of providing
care within an oncology or palliative care setting are essential as you will need to liaise with family members and other
agencies involved with the care of Oncology patients.
Your role will involve some travel and therefore it is essential that you are a driver with a full UK driving license (car
allowance or company car is provided for the post-holder).
Working for a well-known and established Healthcare provider you will need to be able to work largely autonomously and
be able to provide care, support and guidance to oncology patients and their families at all stages of their illness. You will
need to be an effective communicator and be able to maintain records and organise and work to carry out care plans that
have been created.
This exciting yet challenging post will offer an experienced Nurse the opportunity to work independently in the private
sector, be largely responsible for their own time and diary management and act as a resource for other members of staff.
