Web Developer required for an International leading organisation. They develop and support a web-based application that helps companies and organisations round the world collect, manage and communicate sustainability data (including environmental data such as CO2 emissions). They are looking for someone who really enjoys writing software that people want to use!

The company was setup, and is still owned by software developers, so they value a flexible working environment, letting developers drive forward things that both interest them, and that are also good for the product and their customers.

You will be part of a small, talented team of developers based in their Cambridge office. Individuals are dedicated, motivated and expected to manage their own day to day workloads. The team develop and support a web-based application that helps companies and organisations round the world collect, manage and communicate sustainability data (including environmental data such as CO2 emissions).

The application is written in C#, Oracle PL/SQL, XSLT, and bits of C++ on the server, and uses quite a bit of JavaScript on the browser as well as some Flash.

Since launching their current software suite in 2003 they are now global leaders in the software market. There clients include major retailers, manufacturers, energy companies, and banks in the UK, Europe and around the world
They pay according to experience and skills, and how they fit within the current team. The range is £25,000 upwards. They also have an annual profit-sharing scheme, and a range of smaller incentives like giving you a decent laptop, fresh fruit, nice tea and coffee, as well as company funded social events.
