I'm told the real trick here is to strike the proper balance between multi-purpose kitchen appliance and demon barber, convincing you that I slice, dice, converse well and make the best cocktails ever (EVER!), and making you believe those are all good things. The truth is, I really am useful in the kitchen, sharp and charming, versatile and very practical, and furthermore I travel light. I even type in complete sentences. Usually. All this while remaining completely un-intimidating and cuddly. Far more affectionate than your standard juicer.

I'm a professional scientist, but I clean up well when the occasion requires, and leave good impressions on friends and family. While I'm comfortable making small talk, I enjoy engaging people and understanding (often challenging) their ideas. Around town you are likely to find me in a music shop, in a pub that pours good ales, at a museum, at the market searching for fresh ingredients for some exotic seafood dish, or walking down a side street I never noticed before (which is really a euphemism for "I'm often lost"). I also very much enjoy curling up with a glass of wine or (properly) mixed drink to watch films of all sorts; my tastes range from dark and cynical to big-money Hollywood tripe. However, one thing is consistent - any film is better with someone to snuggle up with while watching!

I like women who are clever and inventive, confident and independent, and who smile a lot while still maintaining a healthy level of cynicism (the perfect woman would instead call it "realism").
