Analyst Programmer: Access, SQL, PHP, Cambridge Windhorse: Evolution has an opportunity for an experienced Analyst Programmer to join our team. The Role: You will be part of the team providing an IT Development, Helpdesk & Support service to the rest of the company. You will have responsibility for maintaining & developing business applications in MS Access, SQL & PHP, be involved in integrating 3rd party products, responding to user queries and performing server backups as required. Skills: You will have demonstrated experience of building and maintaining business applications using Access, SQL & PHP. Some knowledge of SQL server will be a definite advantage. Aptitude for diagnosing & resolving complex problems. Helpful & friendly manner, ability to communicate solutions to users. Attention to detail. Be able to work as part of a team & be a fast learner. The Company: Based in Cambridge, we are an 'ethical' company fully owned by a charity The Windhorse Trust. We supply wholesale giftware to retailers throughout Europe as well as run a chain of gift shops called Evolution in the UK & Ireland. We are unique in that most of the profits generated by the business are used to benefit our suppliers in the developing world as well as fund social & Buddhist projects in many parts of the world.
