The Group Homes Manager will be expected to play a leading role in ensuring compliance with all social care policies and in the recruitment of members of the Support Worker staff. Applicants will be expected to have extensive experience of residential care and management experience/responsibility.

A professional qualification in social work, nursing (mental health), or other appropriate equivalent experience and/or qualification is essential.

The Group Homes Manager will be expected to provide and maintain a quality of life and a warm supportive atmosphere in which relationships between individuals can be warm, affectionate and caring; relations which at all times acknowledge and respect the individual’s rights and personal dignity of deafblind people. The Group Homes Manager will ensure that the Homes provide an atmosphere which is conducive to growth – physically, mentally and emotionally.
