Yes it's a cliche to say I know but I am not just looking for 'dating' as such. If it comes along then great but really I'm just quite lonely when I get home at 7 or 8pm andwould love someone that I could get to know to share an evening or two, a day at the weekend etc.

I've moved up to the Peterborough area - I am currently living to the west in Elton. I have a fairly demanding job and I'm often travelling long distances to various places around the UK. I also travel overseas quite regularly so I am not a typical 9 - 5 person who is going to be around every day.

This may have been my downfall in previous relationships I guess.. I do not have children though and have never been married.. I've had a couple of long term relationships when I lived in the south east where we broke up because I put my job before settling down.. Rather be honest

At the moment I am not just looking for someone to begin a relationship with.. Truth is I'm quite lonely..

I am very keen to meet a female friend. To go to the cinema with, go out for dinner, just have a look at some of the places arond here..

I would welcome hooking up with a few male friends just to be able to go out and have a pint and a chat about anything - football, music, current affairs, motor racing, sailing.. I am happy to give anyone a game of squash or badminton, or to play 5 a side football.

I'm in my mid 30s. I try to say in shape. I'm financially sound - I don't like to flash it about but I'm pretty comfortable so don't need to worry for the moment. I do hate excesses of any kind - it sounds boring but moderation is fine by me.. I don't like to go out and drink excessively, have tried smoking when I was a teenager but that was enough. I do like being adventorous and love to make sudden surprise plansto go to the theatre, comedy clubs, hotel brealks away etc.
