Our client is a prestigious international firm of accountants with offices around the UK.  They are currently recruiting for a qualified finance professional to work in their Cambridge office providing internal audit support to their clients.

You will be providing advice on internal audit services and strategy, helping clients deliver their annual audit plans, by means of a fully outsourced function or by working alongside the client in partnership. You will be working with a broad range of clients within the public sector including local authorities, NHS bodies, central government agencies, education and housing.

- Working with a range of clients delivering internal audit assignments
- Assisting with the training and development of junior staff
- Preparing draft reports and correspondence
- Supporting senior members of the team in providing advisory services to Internal audit clients
- Internal Audit effectiveness reviews
The successful candidate will be ACA or MIIA qualified and have strong internal audit experience either within the public sector or risk assurance services.

This is an excellent position for someone who wants to continue to develop their career with a focus on internal audit and the not for profit sector.

This role will involve travel between Cambridge and Norwich and around the East Anglia region.
