Our client who is a large Housing Association in Hertfordshire is looking to recruit a Regeneration Coordinator for a 2 year fixed term contract.
This client is one of the largest housing associations within the County, with a responsibility for approximately 8,700 homes, and a turnover of over £34 million.
Job Summary:
To support the Development and Neighbourhood Services teams in the delivery of key redevelopment projects; ensuring residents and stakeholders wishes and needs are taken into account and taking direct responsibility for implementing and managing the decant process.
Organise consultation events for redevelopment projects taking direct responsibility for these, and ensuring the production and distribution of event invitations and other publicity or display materials are completed effectively.
Managing and monitoring the decanting process in accordance with NHH procedures, assisting residents and ensuring that the process runs smoothly - including home visits to determine needs and requirements, ensuring applications are taken and registered, dealing with enquiries about the decant process, arranging moves for vulnerable residents, organising or providing support during moves, and organising the payment of allowances and expenses in accordance with the decant policy.
Person Specification:
- Good knowledge of resident consultation and participation
- Understanding of regeneration projects and their impact on residents
- Commitment to increasing customer involvement
- Able to deal effectively with customers who may be angry, upset or confused
- Experience of working in a housing or housing related field
- Experience of consultation with the public and stakeholders
- Experience of organising public events and of producing publicity material
Contract Information:
- £24 000 per annum
- 37 hours per week, 8:45 am-17:15 pm Mon- Thur, 8:45 am-16:45 pm Fri
- Essential Car User Allowance £1170 per annum
