We are looking for a nanny to take care of our two children -a girl aged 3 years and a boy of 22 months – for three days a week.

The ideal person will be kind, really good at listening to children and very happy in themselves. They will have several years experience as a nanny/childminder and know central Cambridge.

Our children are bright, happy and interested in learning new things. Our daughter is good natured (with odd crisis over a broken banana, skirt too long/too short/too blue/too red etc) and loves imaginary play. Our son is cheeky and loves his playmobil tractor.

We’d like someone to start in October and to work 8.00-18.00 on a Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. However, we can be flexible on days, times and the start date.

Other things to know:

-This is a live-out position.
-We like our children to have a mix of organised activities and simple play at home.
-We are quite an active family and we eat healthy food (with the odd cake) – it’s important that our nanny is energetic, likes fresh air, can cook balanced meals and can swim.
-Our daughter will go to the local nursery from 9.00-11.30 each day and will need dropping off and collecting.
- We are all very fond of our current nanny but we need to find someone new because we are moving house.
