I have taught English at Schools of English in Cambridge and use the best materials and know about ESOL, IELTS, Cambridge Proficiency Exams, etc. I design lessons to benefit your needs. I used to be a University Lecturer in London in Business Management. Although I have been teaching English to foreign students for 17 years at schools, colleges and privately, for the last 3 years I have been teaching English privately only at all levels, A-Level and University level students and also IELTS. Contact me to see if I can help you. I set you as much Homework as you like so that you can work on your own until your next lesson. Many people can teach you English but if they are not qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language, have experience and a genuine interest in their teaching and YOU, you will not make fast progress. You can have one hour or one and a half hour lessons once a week or two or three times a week. I normally teach in the mornings, and early afternoons Mon-Fri., limited places Sat mornings at a higher rate. Some of my regular students have either passed their IELTS or have returned to their countries so I now have time available for one or two new students . My students often meet one another and socialise and become friends. They are from various countries.

I offer you flexibility as to lesson times, you can choose your lesson times each week - they don't have to be on the same day or the same time each week provided other students haven't already booked the times you choose. All my students book lessons in advance. You can cancel a lesson if you phone me to say you have a problem and want to have it at another time, provided you give me 48 hrs (2 days) notice before the lesson or you lose the deposit you have paid me (half the lesson fee) You can try a few lessons (payable) to see if you want to continue. The first lesson is normally an assessment lesson to identify your strengths and weaknesses like pronunciation, grammar, speaking, writing, etc.

Compare my fees to those charged by Schools of English for individual lessons where you have to pay in advance for courses without any flexibility for attendance.
