Job Description
1.To be knowledgeable on all products and be able to offer advice when people request it.

2.To clean all plates, cutlery, crockery pots and pans, ensuring all crockery, service dishes and plates are ready for service time.

3.To remove all rubbish from the kitchen area as required and to ensure that the bins are kept clean.

4.To ensure all crockery, service dishes and plates are ready for service time.

5.To assist the cooks in ensuring all stock is rotated in date order. Ensure that all out of date products are removed from the kitchen.

6.To assist the cooks with basic cooking duties if requested.

7.To follow company Food safety and Health and Safety policy.

8.To assist with any other position that may need covering in the unit.

9.To report any faulty equipment or hazards to your line manager.

10.To place or assist with the placing of the daily order to ensure that all products are available prior to service.

11.To report any accidents to your line manager.

12.To complete any cleaning tasks as identified by the cleaning schedule.

13.To ensure that the floors are kept clean and dry at all times.

14.To serve on the counter if directed by the unit manager, and when doing so to correctly portion food using the tools as instructed by your line manager.

15.To assist in the cleaning of the foodcourt if requested by your line manager.

16.To perform any other reasonable requests from your line manager.
