My Client is a rapidly growing business, specializing in the production and sale of antibodies and related products. We are a web-based business, with offices in Cambridge, UK, Cambridge, USA, Tokyo, Japan and Hong Kong.
Job:
To support the continued expansion they are looking for a Desktop Support Administrator to join the IT Team. In this role you will work closely will all departments in providing front line PC and network support while assisting in the maintenance and administration of our clients IT network.
Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer-facing and interpersonal skills, and a desire to provide the best possible service for internal customers. In this role technical and communication skills are equally important, such as the ability convey technical subjects to non-technical users in clear and understandable terms.
Candidates will require either a degree in IT or a numerate subject, and/or will have had at least one year's experience in a similar role. Basic troubleshooting of hardware/software problems, a good working knowledge of Windows operating systems, with the ability to learn quickly is essential. Within our clients infrastructure team, they work with a wide range of cutting-edge products. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work and train with these products and technologies.
