Support Manager
Providing first and second level support on all businessproducts and services. You will provide thought leadership in all Network Operations activities. To lead effectively a small, highly skilled, team of Network Operations Centre Engineers.
Experience will include:
Experience in a Technical Management position, ideally in an ISP or Network Operator.
Managing and performing Linux/Unix Technically astute problem solver; sees things through to completion.
Self-motivated and capable of working in a cross-functional team.
Also:
Good knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration (ideally in a distributed network environment). Proficient in use of the Linux/Unix command line interface.
Good knowledge of enterprise-class IP infrastructure (routers/switches/firewalls).
Experience of supporting highly available web-based services.
Experience of network management using SNMP.
Desirable:
Good knowledge of networking equipment administration.
RedHat RHCT/RHCE certification.
Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification.
Working knowledge of peer-to-peer (P2P) protocols.
Excellent salary commensurate with experience and skill set.
