I'm sad to part with my fixed gear bicycle as it was the perfect ride for a city as flat as Cambridge.

It has a 57cm Kestrel steel road bike frame suited for the odd sized 27 inch wheels as was the style in the late '70's. The frame has horizontal drop-outs making it easy to adjust chain tension.

The rear hub is a new, Surly flip-flop hub with a 16 tooth fixed gear and 17 tooth freewheel gear (paid £90 for all 3). also new, an 1/8 inch chain, rear tire, handlebar tape, and toe clips.
